Poetry is not only reserved for the hearing, it’s also a beautiful expression of art that the deaf should be able to enjoy as well. There is an estimated 11 million people in the United States who are deaf. And though they communicate differently their ability to interpret, love, and appreciate poetry hasn’t been diminished.
It’s very important to me that this audience benefits from the beautiful poetry housed on this page and understand that they are being considered as I create wonderful content.
This page is dedicated to all those persons who love poetry, but because of their condition are unable to receive it in the same manner others are able to. But that’s okay.
