WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION TO WRITE POETRY?

I draw inspiration from my own life experiences coupled with those of people I’ve gotten to know after listening to their stories. This is what enables my poetry to be warmly received by my listeners because to some degree I’m telling their stories.

I was born and groomed in the City of Detroit, East side.
WHY DO YOU CALL YOURSELF “The Face of Poetry?”

No one in our generation has done more with the art of poetry than I have. I make it appealing to audiences who found the art dull. I evoke emotion from the dispassionate. I’m making profitable what was once fruitless, and I deliver it with a love and an articulate tongue that’s unmatched- I Am the Face of Poetry
